Our Purpose
To minister to families by offering Christ-centered dance instruction as an alternative to the secular dance environment.

Our Mission
To plant the seed of faith in young hearts using dance as a vessel. And, to help students discover how we can praise and worship our Lord, Jesus Christ through dance.

Our Story
In 1999, Director, Tammy Owens founded Dancing Angels Ministry. As a long time student of dance, she has studied ballet, tap and jazz. After years of praying the Lord finally revealed His will by calling Tammy to a place of ministry. It was His clear direction that led her to discover her dream of combining her passion for dance and her love for Him in the form of ministry.

By God's grace He has blessed this dream from the very beginning. In the early days the Lord led Tammy to begin His work in Christian schools. For nearly five years she ministered to students in the some of the area's well known Christian schools like First Baptist Academy, Highland Park United Methodist Day School and Carrollton Christian Academy. Partnered with these schools Dancing Angels passionately pursued building a successful enrichment dance program for preschool and academy students.

Several years later through Tammy's faith and trust in the Lord's leading, she felt called to broaden her ministry and plant it directly with in the church. For the past six years Dancing Angels has found its current home in two Dallas churches, Park Cities Baptist Church and Lovers Lane United Methodist Church. As a result of being in these churches hundred's of children have been impacted for the cause of Christ.
